What is the best water trampoline? 10 points for best answer!?

my family is buying a house on a lake and i have always dreamed of having a water trampoline. My birthday is in july and i was hoping to use this to my advantage. I am a competitive gymnast and i need the most jumping room for under $400. i would prefer a new one but i know that is hard with my price range. 8 feet of the actual trampoline part will not be enough for me. My dad is hard to convince he needs to have lots of research to even think of buying one. To maximize my chances of actually getting one i need to do a ton of research so he doesn’t have to, so please add links. Thank you for your help!

The following is a list of many of the frequently asked questions about water trampolines.

Q: What is the difference between a water trampoline and a water bouncer?

A: A water trampoline and a water bouncer have a few distinct differences. Water bouncers tend to be smaller, less expensive and also do not produce as high of jumps. This is because water bouncers have netting that is attached directly to the inflation tube whereas water trampoline’s netting is attached by springs to a frame which allows for higher bouncing and can support heavier weight loads.

Q: How do you inflate a water trampoline or bounce platform?

A: The most common method for inflation is using a shop vacuum as they have a high air flow rates. The shop vac should attach to the adapter that comes with most water trampolines, water bouncers and accessories. There are also pumps available for inflation of your water trampoline of choice. We do NOT recommend using an air compressor to inflate your water trampoline as over inflation can damage the tube.

Q: What type of warranty comes with water trampolines?

A: The warranty differs depending on which brand of water trampoline you choose. Most brands come with at least a one year warranty as long as the product has not been used for commercial purposes. We suggest you check with the bradn’s home webpage to find out the specific warranty.

Q: How much and how long does it take to ship a water trampoline?

A: Right now we are offering free shipping on all water trampolines. Shipping will take approximately 7-10 business days. For more information on this check out our shipping page located at the bottom of our homepage.

Q: Do all Rave products need to be anchored and if so how?

A: Water bouncers and water trampolines do need to be anchored. The smaller water bouncers should be anchored with a simple D-ring anchor or a weight over 20 pounds will suffice. Water trampolines require a weight of over 60 pounds and bell anchors are recommended. Additional information is provided in the owner’s manual that is provided with your purchase.

Q: Should bouncers wear life vests?

A: Yes, safety is key in enjoying any water trampoline or water bouncer. No matter how deep the water is life vests should be worn at all times.

Q: Can water trampolines be left out in the water?

A: Most people leave water trampolines out for an entire season and take them out during the colder months. Two things to consider are local regulations about anchoring in your area and the wind speeds around your area. Water trampolines or other products should not be anchored in the water during wind speeds exceeding 15 miles per hour.

Q: Are water trampolines repairable or patchable?

A: Most product come with a repair kit and instructions on how to patch up holes. The kit contains adhesive and extra piece of fabric along with a comprehensive instruction manual. Other parts may need to be replaced in time such as springs or the jump surface.

Q: Can water trampolines be used on land?

A: Yes, but only on grassy even surfaces. It should not but used on gravel or rocks. A water trampoline will not have the bouncing abilities of a land trampoline because it is meant to be used in the water and the tube will absorb most of the energy.

Q: How deep should the water be when using a water trampoline?

A: A water trampoline or water bouncer should never be used in less than six feet of water in order to prevent any injuries.

Q: How long is total set up time?

A: Total set up time ranges depending on which product you purchase. Water bouncers require only inflation which typically takes a maximum of thirty minutes while water trampolines can take a bit longer because the assembly of the fame and jumping surface is required.

Ok I live where the heat has been in the hundreds and its TERRIBLE so when i do jump on the trampoline but i get it to where there’s not a single spot on it that’s not wet, and i know this is a very stupid question but is it good for the springs because we got it a couple months ago and the triangular part that connects the mat to the springs riped through the mat thing(its really hard to explain but it didn’t go through the mat its self but the fabric that connects the mat to the triangular thingy, sorry) and i didn’t know if that was because it was like that(i did fix it though) or possibly somehow from the water, and also i have a 14 foot? trampoline, thanks for answering my dumb question

Well, it’s made for outside, so what do you think happens when it rains? If things are tearing and ripping it may be from hard use, not water. The sun is more damaging than water.

Problems with trampoline enclosure….?

We have a 10′ Bounce Pro trampoline with enclosure. We got it in January and my kids dad said “I’m going to really make this net tight so it looks good.” Guess what happened? The first time my tiny 4 year old bounced into it it ripped. Not enough to fall through but a head size hole. Another one is starting near one of the other places where it ties to the pole and one of the ties has come away completely. I wanted to order another net and have it put on correctly (some slack) and finally found one. For ONE HUNDRED dollars! What? The entire set of trampoline and enclosure parts was $206 with TAX AND SHIPPING! Do you know where I can get a net cheaper than that? Also, those blue foam noodle things that are covering the poles – how necessary are they? One is ripping and water had stood inside it so now the pole is rusty. If I took them off and cleaned the pole with CLR really good would they rust again in the rain? I can’t make the noodle things stay in place so that water won’t get in.

Generally they are very expensive. I’ve actually never seen an enclosure for less than $200 – unless maybe someone has it on clearance.

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer and asking them about replacement parts? That’s usually the best route and it pretty much guarentees you’ll get the right enclosure for your specific trampoline.

I know it’s alot of money but can you really put a price on your childs safety?

Wet Trampoline after rain?

I just got a Trampoline a few weeks ago, and it was sunny for like a week and a half. Then, it rained for a few days, and it was really boring to spend the time inside while the Trampoline stood all alone outside. When the Sun came out again after it had rained for several days, I started jumping on the Trampoline again, the only problem was, that water came towards me from the Blue “Metal-Protection” on the outer part of the Trampoline, almost everytime I jumped on it. I tried cleaning the Blue “Metal-Protection”, because the water was coming from under of it, but I don’t know from where. I also tried cleaning the springs, but the water still kept coming. After a few days later, the Water still came from the “Metal-Protection”, but not as much as before. I always have a Towel near me when I jump on the Trampoline, to use it when the water drops comes again!

I have a Trampoline with Net surrounding it, and I appriciate all the help/advice in advance

The water is coming from different parts of the Blue Plastic, not only from one single place!
And how can the Blue Plastic have holes in it, when the Trampoline is almost new?

Haha exactly the same thing happens to me!
Dont worry about it man, if it is the same as my problem its just the foamey stuff inside the blue plastic has taken up the water, just like a sponge
if the water comes out again just go to the source and stand on the blue plastic, my guess is that its coming through a hole there
if u want it to stop just seal it up with some duck tape of sumit
